Valparin tablet belongs to a group of medicines called anti-epileptics and anticonvulsant. It is used to treat epilepsy. It works by preventing extreme mood swings and abnormal brain signals that trigger seizures (fits). It is also used in the treatment of mania which is a mental disorder characterized by hyperactivity and racing thoughts.
