Nexletol (bempedoic acid) is a medicine used to lower "bad" cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia) or a genetic condition called familial hypercholesterolemia. It is typically used along with diet and statins to manage cardiovascular risks, or alone for patients unable to tolerate statins.
