Vancomycin

Vancomycin is a tricyclic glycopeptide antibiotic used to treat severe gram-positive bacterial infections, including those caused by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA). Vancomycin is used also to treat Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea (also called C diff).
