Loxitane

Loxitane is used to treat schizophrenia. It belongs to a group of medicines called first-generation (typical) antipsychotics. It blocks some areas in the brain where the natural chemical, dopamine, works. This lowers the effect of dopamine in the body. Dopamine affects your behavior and thinking.
